Green Employer Advisory Council – GEAC

The Green Employer Advisory Council (GEAC) has been established to advise ways to strategically outreach to businesses, organizations, education institutions, and trade unions.  Collaborative efforts include designing and implementing a marketing and recruitment strategy for the clean energy sector. The Council will host meetings so that employers have the opportunity to meet participants of the various certification programs funded by grants such as the Clean Energy Workforce Training Program. The United States Green Building Council-Inland Empire (USGBC-IE) Chapter has a group of interns as part of their Emerging Professionals (EP) program to assist, along with youth and college interns through the community organization Uncommon Good.
